Based around three metaphors Jesus uses to describe his followers: 'a city on a hill', 'the salt of the earth' and 'the light of the world'.
These vivid and rich titles encompass so much of what we can be when we humble our lives before him and let him work through us.

Verse 1:
To be a city on a hill
On display for all to see
A place of justice, grace and peace
That's what you're calling us to be

Verse 2:
To be the salt of all the earth
Scattered far and wide and free
In all society we serve
So everyone may taste and see

Pre Chorus:
But like Jerusalem that fell as she left the call of God
to be his means of blessing to the world
And so we daily have a choice to use our hands and raise our voice,
to be the change the Lord would want to see

Chorus:
Let us return to the lord of the earth, humble yourself
Come let us learn from our saviour who served, humble yourself
Give up control of your heart, mind and soul, humble yourself
God us our goal and the hope of the world, humble yourself

Verse 3:
To be the light of all the world
Shining in the darkest night
By our good deeds all men will know
So may our lives burn bold and bright
