Never Be The Same

from Still Human by Ian Peacock

/

about

An ambient track I later added vocals to. I was experimenting with the latest version of my production software (Logic X) and tried a few new synths out. It was amazing how easy it was to create cool sounds and effects (the wonders of modern technology eh?!).

The lyrics reflect my tendency to feel dissatisfied with life, in spite of being well and truly blessed. At times like this, I return to the grace of God, in whom my heart finds rest.

lyrics

Overwhelmed I strive for more
Don't know what I'm looking for
Here my heart will find a home
Justified by faith alone

And things will never be the same....
