Only In The Night Time

from Still Human by Ian Peacock

/

about

It started with a Bluesy acoustic guitar riff and ended in an indie rock song....

Lyrically, it's a mish mash of thoughts really, touching on morality, origins, culture, science, philosophy and fear. What does it mean to you? - 'heaven knows, you decide'!

lyrics

Grow old, cold, only at the right time
Bought , sold, but only for the right price
Truth, lies, spies, only through the right eyes
Black, white, grey, heaven knows, you decide

Rubber hits the road, rocks begins to roll, slipping down the slope
Culture can corrode, will we explode?

Fear, we're here, only in the night time
Dreams, memes, seems everything is alright
Heat, sweet, keep bottling it up inside
Fall, crawl, sprawl, earth and comets will collide

Rubber hits the road,
rocks begins to roll,
slipping down the slope
Culture can corrode,
Will we explode if we're all alone origins unknown
Who will you phone, you're just a drone

Everything is alright
Only in the night time
