In ancient Jewish history, the tribes would remember significant events by erecting stone memorials as a way of not forgetting what God had done amongst their community.

In my experience, it has been through the most difficult situations where I have grown most in character. Like stones, which are shaped by wind, rain and rivers crashing against them, it is when we are under pressure that we find out what we are really made of.

lyrics

How you remember your trial, A way to mark every mile
A monument to a time, an uphill struggle you climb

Share it with stories and stones, tales of strength in dry bones
In every journey there's hope shared through stories and stones

A sacred place you can go, the pain that caused you to grow
with those you've chosen to share, the joys and sorrows you bear

Share them with stories and stones, tales of strength in dry bones
In every season there's hope shared through stories and stones

Though the memory fades the stone still remains
a lesson the next generation can save
And each time we build on the one laid before
the bigger the structure, the stronger the force

The power of stories and stones that speak to flesh and dry bones
In every journey there's hope, share it with stories and stones
Share with stories and stones, share with stories and stones
