In the second of my psalm-inspired songs on this album, I was struck by the profoundly simple notion that ‘only the thirsty drink’ and ‘only the hungry feast’. This is true not only physically but also true spiritually; only those who are really dissatisfied with their current level of spiritually maturity and connection with God will ask for more. The incredibly good news is that God promises to fill those who ask for more of his Spirit, that those who ask, seek and knock will always find him - the one who is the fountain of life and the river of delights.
